Добавлен 23 май 2020
Mark & Jocelyn Wolters have experiences living and traveling around the world that have shaped their lives. We carry little parts of the globe with us everywhere we go. It influences the food we cook, the fashion Jocelyn wears, and how we see the world. We simply want to share that inspiration with you through cooking, food, and whatever comes our way.
You may have seen us in videos on Wolters World Travel & Culture. We love delving into cultures and sharing them with others. Here we want to show you the world, one bite at a time.

I'm from Pittsburgh but now living in Denver. Every football season, I order 3 or 4 pizzas from Mineo's on Murray Ave half baked and frozen and FedEx overnight. Every Steelers game I have a slice or 2. This yinzer says Go Steelers 🖤💛🏈
steam anchor?
I loveeeee fruit 😋😋😋😋
Eat too much fruit and you will gain weight just as quick as eating pasta..
Not really fruit is low calorie food same as vegetables are you dumb? Of course carbohydrates are much higher in calories because of glucose, gluten, protein food like rice, pasta, bread, grains, cerial
I am jealous 😄❤👌 Beautiful fruits! ❤
It reminds me of that one episode of The Simpsons. In this episode, Homer and Lisa were restaurant testers. When asked how he liked the food, Homer rolled his eyes every time and started drooling. 🤤🤤🤤🤤

As a German I can only say this guy knows what he is talking about. Great video!
Spaßig. I don’t think he described anything very profound or enlightening. But I enjoy the hell out of this video. Makes me want to be back in Germany and Switzerland.

My favorite restaurant is Bravo Franco in downtown Pittsburgh across from Heinze Hall.
You can EAT in Strasbourg!! big time
Looks awesome. But that’s a small?
Ok so I’m confused… this is the 3rd short video I’ve watched where you mention, it might be a tourist restaurant with a frown. What’s wrong with a tourist restaurant?!
The tomatoes and olives and lemons are incredibly delicious in Italy!
Yeah dude not like the shit you grow here and give to us
Beautiful video, thank you very much, made me feel like I was on vacation😊😊
Pastries in Germany are very different than in the USA. Even though the pastry may appear very sweet, many German pastries are not so sweet. It is a good idea to go for the fruit-topped pastries in Germany if you're looking for sweet.
It cepolinai my fav food in the world
Krystal-Chattanooga, Moon Pies-Chattanooga. Both Chattanooga based. I haven’t even gotten started on Little Debbie’s
Ive only had frog legs once, at a French restaurant I worked at when I was young. SO incredibly wonderful. And YES the legs are humorous. They look like a humans butt and legs.
Karen
i like your friendly explanations....😀
Thank you
Milwaukee, best all around food choices.
It was a tasty trip
My wife and I frequent Banana Cafe every morning we're in KW for lobster eggs benedict, mimosas and cafe lattes. Amazing!
Yummy!!!
LOL!!! I have lived in VA for 60 years. Just stop.
i want a Cheesesteak sub, any place there?
so, no phillysteak subs anywhere?
I am sure you can find one... but ask quietly 😉
'Soups are souper big here' 😂 I'm so punny.
So many tasty treats!!!!! Refajo... be careful :) it is not to be drunk alone... believe me :)
😂 yessss
They do incorporate diverse flavors really well! Latvia is a lovely country.
there is a small historic liquor store in charleston on bay st right next to the old exchange and dungeon museum called the tavern at rainbow row, we saw some local moonshine and whiskeys sales guy there who had some stories and then some free samples it was cool they have some south carolina style of whiskey or rye or whatever it might be called palmetto its made with something slightly different then bourbon its sweeter
I had no idea there was a cake bar in D ❤❤❤❤
Great video, good work with the pronunciations.
You asked for an “opinionated Chicagoan”, so you’ve got one- What an underwhelming and disappointing video; I expect more from Wolter’s World. Once they said [chain restaurant] “Portillo’s” as the spot to go to for hot dogs - instead of a place like Superdawg’s or Jimmy’s I almost stopped watching. As a native Chicagoan, who’s still here, I find it hard to believe the two individuals in this video are from the city, let alone know of what they speak. Nearly 10 minutes and they barely mentioned anything. They glazed over all of the “ethnic” food instead of naming actual places to go, like Papa Cache’s for some excellent Puerto Rican food, Cho Sun Ok for some mean Korean BBQ, La Guerrense for amazing Mexican - sooo much more that an actual local would know and could recommend off the top of their head. And for fun, if I had to guess - the neighborhood the two people in this video are in would be either Wicker Park, Logan, Humboldt Park, or Pilsen. Looks like they may have been at Lottie’s [bar], and Little Au Cheval for the burgers. This is almost as bad as that Puerto Rico video his wife made that they restricted the comments on. Smh.
I love Riga .
I loved cheese bread, yooo
The gent is a tourist. No need to tip in Canada
Sounds like the USA
He spoke English so well.
Omg this is wild haha!
I remember trying it when I visited Riga in 2022, the bartender told me I would be able to speak Latvian fluently if I drank the whole bottle 😂
Great tips! One that I would add - if you're there in November or December, that's the season for goose, which is a traditional Christmas food. Only a few places are going to have larger cuts of roast goose, but there are many restaurants that will have goose leg, often with some kind of wonderful sauce. My favorite is a Steinpilz (porcini mushroom) sauce. Out of this world! And, of course, there are the wonderful Weihnachtsmarkte all over the place at that time as well. It's a bit cold and the off-season, but a wonderful time to visit. And as to wine, Germany has great reds as well! Pfalz Spatburgunder (pinot noir) is amazing and rivals any Burgundy, in my opinion. And also lesser-known reds like Blaufrankisch, like pinot noir, also in the light- to medium-bodied range that I like. Just be sure you know the different sweetness levels, especially the difference between trocken and halbtrocken in table wine - the latter "half-sweet" style is great in a Riesling or Gewurtztraminer but, for non-Germans anyway, pretty off-putting in a red, and there are actually a lot of halbtrocken reds you could end up with if you're not careful. Great dessert wines too, in the Beerenauslese to Trockenbeerenauslese to Eiswein range. Also, in the harder alcohol range, an absolute must-try are some of their fruit infused brandies (different from either fruit brandy, like Kirsch, or fruit liqueur), such as Moor-Birne or Altes Pflümle, a Black Forest region specialty. An absolute bomb of fruit flavor, but unlike liqueurs, only mildly sweet and simply out of this world! Many cities have specialty shops where they sell brandies, liquors, seasonings, etc out of large dispenser bottles and you can buy them by them by the milliliter (the stores also sell different size bottles).
We are traveling to Riga in August. Thanks Mark for the great tip!!
Going there this weekend cannot wait to try all of the food thanks a bunch
When I was in Riga back in 06 ( where have years gone), had It with cola and lime in one or three Riga Libre's.
🎉🎉😮
😊
Knowing that the Thüringer Bratwurst is the best, shows he knows what he is doing.
